At 15 she became a bride. At 19 she became a queen. By 20 she was a legend!

Posing-Lucy
I adore these poses!! The image above could be used to show off more hair accessories, this could either be indoor or outdoor! I think the idea of the model looking up symbolises the fact Marie Antoinette was very young, childlike! The image to the left I thought shows us what a gel may be like. Her make-up is immaculate here so we'd have to get that spot on for the close-up but her expression is very effective! Finally the image below we could do at the start of the shoot when both models have their natural hair colour. How perfect would it be to re-create this photo!!
These two poses are a little more interesting! The hungover pose just shows an eye so as much as it conveys Marie Antoinette's rebel side it may not be good for selling the garments. The other, if done correctly, could be very effective but it may also come across to commercial and not editorial enough for out chosen magazine, Vogue!

These outdoor stills we could re-create! We may not need footwear then either! The garden symbolises her true inner self in the film. It's where she's most free and it's where she escapes! We could do this part of the shoot last to messy the hair or even take it down!
I love the idea of the book reading, or even just holding a book! One of the models could be reading to the other in the garden!

| I adore this Vogue shoot!! This just shows us even if it got dark it would be OK! Gives it a very editorial and sinister feel! Also, proves we were right when deciding our shoot would be in Vogue! |

| I love this pose from the shoot! Even though we won't have the pleasure of using a garment like this, we could take inspiration from the informal feel of her pose! |
Photo Shoot Idea - Charlotte

Hey guys, just posting because a really good idea just popped into my head! since symbolism is a HUGE part of our whole idea for the shoot how about in one of the shots with the 2 models we have the young innocent Antoinette like a puppet on a string because she gets very controlled and told what to do , especially at the beginning of the film. The puppet master could be her later self ? showing how the person she later became is the person she wanted to be but couldn't . Just an idea guys, let me know what you all think!

Marie Antoinette holds many symbolic and iconic poses within the film! I looked for a few still that we could use for inspiration!!
These balcony images could be very effective! I love the pose below (sorry for the poor picture) when Marie Antoinette surrenders to the revolution and bows her head on the balcony!
These 3 images are all within the household! The cupcake idea we love, but this pose is very symbolic of her lad back attitude to wealth and fame!! The colour scheme is also very fitting! The image on the right is of Kirsten, again, showing no effort towards her role and reign of Queen. Finally, the image below shows a similar pose, almost as if she is tired of rules! All these, I feel, could be amazing to use!

More Lingerie finds - Sami
From H&M i saw them today (Preston store) just thought it could be an option as they're really cheap.

Here are some more items i have managed to get. The floor length black dress looks good with the ribbon sash over it and the layered tulle underneath. I really like the black lace gloves and the pink shrug is really feminine. The floral dress is a strange shape, not sure about the colours but the lace trim is a nice detail and the film costumes had a lot of floral materials.

Styling-Lucy
Since this is a styling project, I looked into what being a fashion stylist meant! Also known as a wardrobe stylist, a fashion stylist is someone who selects clothing for published editorial features, print or television advertising campaigns, music videos, concert performances, and any public appearances made by celebrities, models or other public figures. Although this job title could also be aimed at the general public, it is commonly directed at wealthy figures. The job description varies depending on the assignment. Stylists in the editorial and celebrity fields work primarily with designer samples. These designers may sometimes endorse the celebrity or public figure. High level stylists may collaborate directly with designers to produce custom clothing for celebrity clients or editorials. They may also provide services such as personal shopping, reconstructing a client's entire wardrobe or reorganising the closet.
A costume designer, which will have been used in Marie Antoinette, is the person who clothes characters in film, television or theatre. A wardrobe stylist is requires different skills to that of a image consultant or a colour consultant.

Props- Suzanne
I also have some detailed wrist bands, they are really delicate and i think they could be incorporated somewhere if u girls like them. The pale pink and blue garment is a cape.

I have these beautiful gloves (white leather) but unfortunately they are too small to fit anyone's hands in! We could just have the model hold them or have them in the background. The other gloves which look older should fit. The fur animals are meant to be worn over the shoulders, they are a bit creepy but i think they are great. Then some really old knee high socks- could just be in the background of a bedroom scene or something.
