Fashion Photographers - Sami

Right, for the shoot we need to THINK how we're gonna do this. Fashion shoots are really really hard to construct, and very time consuming so we need to prepare as much as possible so we get it done :)

Here are a few fashion photographers i've found which i think we could take inspiration from.

-- Tim Walker
Very high fashion, severe lighting. Quite couture style shoots. Obscure.

-- Mario Testino
Classic posing, harsh cold light very sharp. But he's one of the worlds best fashion photographers.

-- David Sims
Personally, i love this guy, he focuses his shoots solely on showing off the fashion but in very creative ways. We could do the same with the vast location we've got!!!

-- Nick Knight
He focuses on movement, always features something which moves, if its a huge dress or the swish of the model's hair. If we were to get a very classic marie antoinette dress, featuring movement would make our shoot more dynamic and engaging.

-- Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot

These guys, are creative geniuses, their images are always unique, engaging, and dynamic making your eye flow over the picture.
This particular image is very classic, easily incorporated to our theme.

-- Inez Vidooh (shortened name)

I picked this, to show how we can obscure the lighting, using coloured gels adds more colour into the image.
In the film, there is a lot of pink and deep colours, it would look fab if we could include this into our shoot, as well as adding some technical difficulty.

I, personally, have used gels in the past, to practice and create different affects.

For this image, i used red, which as you can see creates a red tinge where the light hits the model, quite easy to control so we could have a go at it!
For the image below i used green, which creates quite a good effect in this instance.

Just throwing idea's around, we don't have to! :) sorry for the long post.
